Humanized Hound

Ever wondered why, the more undoglike and more human your pooch is in its behaviour, it is considered a better dog. The more anthropomorphic its avatar, the more lovable 'sweet' it becomes. No instinctive canid grrrs, no maddening howls,no biting,no messing the carpet - just sit, roll over, beg, and handshake on command. What an obedient fellow. Lesser like a dog, more it is qualified for the 'best in obedience' category. Oh tempora, oh mores!

Its all and only sex

Ever wondered, why or how could, who should sink a few ccs of semen into whose few cms abyss, that too in the dark, lead to all known events dotting history of mankind? Wars, bloodshed, bigotry and haterd, yet simultaneously spawn all things creative, epics, arts, literature, architecture and poetry and progeny.

Christ, of India

In the OT references are there to the existence of Jewish people in India during the reign of Xerxes, who had proclamations concerning the eviction ( and later pardon) for the Jews, were sent the book says, to India. How come populations of Jews were based in India in the pre-christian era? Traders, seafarers, overland migrants, or lost one or more of the lost tribes of Israel?
If this be so, then it is certainly not incoceivable that even during the times of Christ, contact between Jewish communes and communities existed across the continents. The theory that, Jesus, did indeed spend some formative years of his life in India or parts of the subcontinent, or that he managed to return to the the intellectual and religious sanctuary provided by resident Asians, does not appear too fanciful. Ofcourse, to the diehards and fanatical, combining history with hoary gospels would be sacriligeous, and blasphemous an exercise. Notwithstanding, the shrill chorus, I maintain, that a deeper understanding of history, and a more thorough investigation into the life and time so Christ is mandated. The Vatican itself should set the ball rolling.
The Magi came from east, the Holy Book says. Christ's life itself, is a mystery for nearly twelve years, before he returns as the Messiah. Was he in India, interacting with vedic scholars. Some school of thought thinks so, as it does, adding that Thomas, one of Christ's own disciple apostle, came to India (and died there). Why India? Maybe following Christ back here after his resurrection. One version says that the Messiah returned to India, with Mary, stopping over at Muree (now in Pakistan). Muree? after Mary??
Drop in to Kashmir, and visit the Rosabal Mausoleum. Christ is interred here, legend holds. In India. Christian history and lore has much in common with Hinduism. The OT tales on creation, are exact replicas of Indian vedic texts. Eva-Hyva. Adam-Adiman, Noah-Nahu, right uto Abraham, the lineage is cited in Hindu treatises. Moses-Moosa,Abraham-Abiraman. Uncanny, but true. Floods-pralaya, Christ-Christna. The annals and archives of Vatican will tell more.
And how about the lost tribes of Israel? In India! Thousands of Manipuri natives have now been resettled in Israel, thanks to some scholarly rabbis who are certain that these populations are decendents of the original tribe that followed Moses.

Christ & Christianity in India

Hindu beliefs are based on texts written more than five to one thousand years before the birth of Christianity. The Vedas, contain parables, maxims, tenets, history, prophesies, lineages and adages, many of which appear almost in verbatim in later religious reference books, including the Testaments. One should just flip through the lineage of Abraham, starting from Adam himself, as is mentioned in the vedic treatises, every name, every generation, is almost identical to that found in the Jewish or Christian historical texts. It must be mentioned that the vedas were written thousands of years before any of the other religions sprang up.
It would suffice, for example for me to cite, that the very word Adam, is still used in India, as Aadimanav, (aadi:prmary, manas, manav: man)I write this not that I happen to be a Hindu freak, in fact I am a rationalist with very little faith in things religious. But history is beyond religious compartments, and must be addressed as factual. I quote from the Bhavishyapurana, one of the later vedic texts, written about l000 to 3000 BC. The converasation between a local King in Hun Desh (Country of Hun), and a holy man, clad in white who calls on him
'ko bhaavanithi tham praha
sahoavachanmadanam vita
Eeesa putran maam vidhi
kumari garbavasamaha
aham Esa Massiha naama'
( to translate loosely: Who may you be? With some euphoria the stranger replied " I am the Son of God, born of a Virgin, my name, better known, Esa, the Messiah')
Esa, Yesu, Easa, are even now used in India in many languages with reference to Christ
The purpose of this note is not for stirring up some fanatical outbursts but fpr reasoned feedbacks and scholarly inputs on a fascinating piece of history, yet unsolved in its mystery and mysticism.
My own hypothesis, is that, no matter what, the very localized geographical core from which sprang Jewish faith,Hinduism (from its roots,Buddhism,Sikhism) Christianity,Zoarashtrism, Islam, spreads in a cresentric swath across middle east to India, straddling Israel, Jordan, Syria,Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan and India. That Islam, Christianity and Hinduism originated from the core area in this swathe of land, just about east Israel to Afghanistan, is amazing.Hinduism is still the oldest practised religion, its origins dating back to the vedic Aryans (aryans)who scribed the, who first starting scribing or folkloring on the banks of river Kubla (modern Kabul), thence to Indus Valley, then onto Gangetic plains, the Aryans moved spreading their faith. From this geocentric core too originated the Torah, and the Testament, westerly from around the banks of Jordanian rivers. Could not it be that one single mass of primitive peoples, spreading out from a central point herefrom, carried with them their lore and saga, each in time interpreting the basics as part of their religious belief?
It should be of interest to any reader to note that the flooding, the ark, the deluge (pralaya) are all cited in the vedas. The very life of Krishna (one of the Gods in the Hindu pantheon) was born of a inferior caste (cowherd), was floated as a babe into a river, retrieved, and lived, to fight evil, and destroy the oppressors (demons)....so very like the life of Moses (Moosa in vedas), born of a slaving Jew, floated on the Nile, saved to adulthood, then destroying the evil might of the Pharaonic tyrants to liberate his people.
Under our camouflage, we are all akin. Hindu, Islam or Christian or Buddhist.
As Che Guevara, the Cuban revolutionary once wrote to a curious Spanish fan, who wanted to know from Che if they could be related in some way, as he too (the fan, was called Guevara)Che replies,"I dont think I have any Spanish connection, and you are surely not related to me....but if you share with me, my commitment to the cause of the downtrodden and oppressed, then we are brothers indeed"
I am no history professor, in fact I teach medical students, human anatomy. If in the process of imbibing the structure of the human being as a medical must, my students also learn something about the fabric of mankind, and humanism...then Ishall some have pride in my teaching abilities
